This policy explains how RefVPN handles information when providing cross-border access and international route subscriptions. It applies to the marketing website, user panel, and use of the service. Information handled on third-party payment pages is subject to the relevant provider's policy.
Account and Order Information
No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are enough. RefVPN processes account identifiers and login credentials to identify accounts, verify logins, and manage subscriptions. Email is optional. If a user voluntarily provides an email address in a support ticket, it is used only to handle that request and is not a prerequisite for using the service.
Order records include the selected plan, payment amount, order status, transaction reference information, and refund details. They are used to activate service, verify payments, and resolve disputes. Issue descriptions and necessary attachments in support tickets help troubleshoot problems. Before submitting, remove passwords, full subscription URLs, and personal information unrelated to the issue.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Handling
RefVPN does not record which websites users access through international routes. It does not retain browsing history, request contents, or lists of destinations, nor create records that could be used to trace an individual's browsing activity.
Temporary session state needed to establish and forward connections is processed only while a connection is active and released when the session ends. It is not persistently stored as connection history. Cumulative account traffic and subscription status are used for billing and usage management and do not include the specific websites accessed. These account usage records are handled separately from browsing activity logs and are not used to reconstruct browsing content.
Website Analytics and Local Storage
Website analytics help us understand traffic sources, page usage, and user flows, improve content, and identify unusual access patterns. Analytics are limited to this website and its interactions; they do not extend to other websites accessed through our routes. Do not enter credentials in page URLs or support ticket messages.
Cookies and local storage maintain essential page state, save language preferences, and store login credentials. Login state can be cleared by signing out; users can also clear site storage through their browser settings. After clearing it, users may need to sign in again and choose their preferences, but this does not delete account or order data stored on the server.
Third-Party Payments and Required Disclosures
Payment methods include Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment authorization, transfer confirmation, and transaction information held by payment channels are handled by the relevant third parties. RefVPN receives the payment result and transaction reference information needed to complete an order; users are not asked to submit payment account passwords on this website.
Payment providers retain transaction information under their own policies, and USDT transfers may also leave public on-chain records. RefVPN provides relevant information only as needed to fulfill orders, process refunds, or respond to valid legal requests. Account information is not sold or shared for marketing unrelated to subscriptions.
Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Account information is retained while the service is provided. Order, refund, and necessary support records are kept until reconciliation, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations are complete. Website analytics are deleted or aggregated once their purpose has been fulfilled. There is no single retention period for all data; information is deleted or de-identified when its purpose no longer applies and there is no obligation to retain it.
Users can sign in to the panel and submit a request to access, correct, or delete account information through the support ticket portal. Account control must be verified before a request is processed to prevent accidental deletion. Deletion may affect login, subscription access, and support history. Transaction records that must be retained by law will have their use restricted and will be handled after the obligation ends. Deleting data from this website does not delete third-party payment records.
